Iran Regime Blocks Telegram

INU -Iranian MP Alaeddin Boroujerdi has stated that the intensly popular messaging service Telegram will be blocked in Iran by April 20, causing a stir amongst the tens of millions of Iranian users.
Boroujerdi, the head of the parliament’s powerful National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, said: “This was a decision made at the highest levels, and Telegram will be replaced by a domestic app.”

Domestic Clashes Point to Possible International Consequences of Iran’s Cyber Warfare

INU - On Tuesday, a series of clashes between Iranian security forces and the Sufi religious sect known as Gonabadi dervishes resulted in several deaths and hundreds of arrests. To some extent, this development can be seen as an outgrowth of the much broader conflict between the Iranian regime and anti-government protesters, which came to a head in early January. According to Iranian opposition groups like the National Council of Resistance of Iran, relevant demonstrations have continued to the present day, albeit on a smaller scale than the mass uprising which was repressed by security forces after spreading to well over 100 Iranian cities.

What Led to the Crash of the Iranian Airplane?

INU - Aseman Airlines passenger Flight EP3704 crashed into Dena Mountain near the city of Semirom in Isfahan Province on Sunday morning, February 18th. Everyone on board was killed — 66 passengers and crew. The plane was en route from Tehran to the south-western city of Yasuj.
